PROJECT DESCRIPTION

KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) performed the following services at Terrance Riley Middle School for the New Jersey Economic Development Authority:

Site Survey
The project required a site survey of the existing parking lot and perimeter of the school, adjacent street, sidewalk area, fencing, and existing drainage structures.

Parking Lot Design
The design of the parking lot included parking spaces, pavement markings, ingress and egress, traffic movements, pavement structure, new sidewalks, grading and drainage structures, light pole foundations, and new chain-link fencing and gates. ADA requirements were investigated and satisfied in the design by providing two handicapped spaces with required signage. In addition, curb cuts from the street to the parking lot were provided to satisfy requirements. A project cost estimate, quantity estimate, and project specifications were developed.
