KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) provided professional engineering and surveying services for the connection of sanitary drainage pipes from four new homes at 138 – 144 Komorn Street in the City of Newark, NJ to a new sanitary sewer line.
KSE surveyed the site frontage along both Komorn and St. Francis Street to obtain the locations of all visible utility appurtenances such as manholes and valve boxes.
Utilizing the survey information obtained, the locations of all the utilities along the site frontages on both Komorn and St. Francis Streets were established on an existing utility location drawing that uses the Lineas Design Group’s proposed site plan as background.
KSE prepared the necessary sanitary sewer drainage calculations as per the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection guidelines for Standards for Sewer Disposal. Utilizing this data, the following drawings were prepared:
- Plan view of proposed new sanitary line and lateral connections on Komorn Street
- Roadway centerline profile on Komorn Street along the site frontage
- Maintenance and Protection of Traffic drawings for the construction of the new sanitary line on Komorn Street and the new manhole at the intersection of Komorn and St. Francis Streets
