KS Engineers, P.C. has been retained by the Essex County Department of Public Works to provide construction inspection services for the 2007 Roadway Resurfacing and Roadway Improvement Program (RRRIIP).
RRRIIP is a construction contract that provides the removal and replacement of existing pavement on Essex County roadways. The work involved includes but not limited to the missing, overlay, pavement markings, drainage improvements, installation of guide rails and other incidental improvements. Specifically, the services include but not limited to the following:
- Providing full time resident engineering and inspection services
- Conducting utility pre-construction meeting and act as county liaison
- Maintain daily reports and submit to County Engineer on a timely basis
- Prepare and recommend construction change orders and supplemental agreements
- Report directly to the county engineer
- Monitor the Contractor compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Monitor Contractors compliance to MBE / WBE participations
- Review and recommend partial payments
- Provide bidding assistance to the County
