Harry Baker was responsible for developing and managing the parking accumulation and turnover survey, calculating the parking utilization rates and preparing the report. The study consisted of surveying the existing on-off-street parking facilities located in the North Gateway area of the Town. Following predetermined routes, surveyors catalogued the license plate numbers of the cars parked in each space for a typical weekday and weekend day. Based on the data collected, we were able to determine the number of vehicles parked and how long they by on-street block face and also in each lot. Recommendations were made to improve the parking utilization by changing the current enforcement policies.
