Corporate Safety Officer

Ms. Natallia Kavaleuskaya serves as Corporate Safety Officer at KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE), bringing over five years of experience in construction safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health. Since joining KSE in March 2021, she has been responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the firm’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and to promote a proactive safety culture across all operations.

Ms. Kavaleuskaya is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), possesses in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements. She applies this expertise to develop and administer comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and compliance programs tailored to construction and infrastructure project environments.

Her responsibilities include designing and delivering safety training programs, employee orientations, and continuing education initiatives to ensure workforce competency and regulatory compliance. She conducts site safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses, and leads incident investigations involving injuries, illnesses, near misses, and environmental events. Through root cause analysis, she develops and implements corrective and preventive action plans aimed at reducing incident rates and enhancing overall safety performance.

Ms. Kavaleuskaya also has a strong background in industrial hygiene, including exposure assessment, monitoring, and control strategies for occupational hazards. She performs industrial hygiene evaluations, recommends engineering and administrative controls, and provides technical guidance on workplace health risks to ensure safe and compliant working conditions.

In addition to her technical expertise, Ms. Kavaleuskaya is recognized for her leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, effectively working with project teams, management, and field personnel to reinforce safety awareness and accountability. She is committed to continuous improvement and staying current with evolving industry standards and best practices in environmental health and safety.

Ms. Kavaleuskaya holds a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene and is certified as an Associate Safety Professional (ASP).
