KS Engineers is the lead designer for The Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA) design-build project MP-21, Rehabilitation of the Rockaway Point Boulevard and Jacob Riis Pedestrian Overpasses and the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge. The lead contractor is John P. Picone, inc. of Lawrence, NY. Scope of work includes Replacement of existing superstructure with a two-span structure consisting of a reinforced concrete deck with an integral wearing surface supported on weathered steel girders, repair of abutments and pier, installation of new drainage structures, lead and asbestos abatement, and new lighting.
