Mr. Anand J. Hegde, P.E., serves as Senior Project Manager and Deputy Manager of the Structures Department at KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE), where he supports the strategic growth, technical excellence, and operational leadership of the firm’s structural engineering practice. In this role, he contributes to project delivery oversight, staff development, and the advancement of bridge engineering capabilities across the organization.
Mr. Hegde brings over 30 years of extensive experience in bridge engineering, with a strong technical background in structural design, rehabilitation, inspection and evaluation, load rating, and construction support services. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, from preliminary engineering and detailed design through construction-phase services, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hegde has successfully delivered a wide range of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects for major public agencies, including the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), and MTA Bridges and Tunnels. His work has involved complex structural systems and high-visibility projects requiring detailed engineering analysis, stakeholder coordination, and adherence to rigorous quality and safety standards.
In addition to his domestic experience, Mr. Hegde has contributed to major international infrastructure projects in Australia and Qatar, providing him with a global perspective on engineering practices, project delivery methodologies, and multidisciplinary coordination in diverse regulatory environments.
Mr. Hegde is recognized for his strengths in project and client management, team leadership, and technical oversight. He has significant experience in proposal development, contract documentation, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes, and supporting competitive project pursuits. His ability to integrate technical expertise with effective management practices makes him a valuable contributor to KSE’s continued growth and success in the structural engineering sector.
