Mr. Ronald S. DeNadai serves as Vice President of Pennsylvania Operations at KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE), bringing over 40 years of distinguished experience in the planning, design, management, and delivery of major transportation infrastructure programs. His career encompasses a broad spectrum of transportation disciplines, including transportation systems planning, engineering design, construction inspection, program and project management, capital programming and budgeting, and policy development.

Mr. DeNadai has demonstrated expertise in leading large, complex infrastructure initiatives, with a strong focus on integrating transportation planning with land use, environmental stewardship, and community objectives. He has extensive experience in contract negotiation and administration, securing and leveraging innovative transportation funding mechanisms, and managing multidisciplinary teams across public-sector agencies and private-sector partners. His leadership extends to active participation on transportation boards and committees, contributing to policy development and industry advancement.

He is an Emeritus Member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Environmental Analysis in Transportation (ADC10) under the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, reflecting his long-standing contributions to the integration of environmental considerations in transportation decision-making.

Mr. DeNadai is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and has pursued advanced studies in Transportation Systems Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Civil Engineering and is a recognized national speaker on key industry topics, including context-sensitive design, the integration of transportation and land use planning, environmental streamlining, and the application of technology in managing large-scale infrastructure (“megaprojects”).

His work has been recognized with several prestigious industry awards, including the American Institute of Planners (AIP) Urban Design Award for the Vine Street Expressway (I-676), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)/National Endowment for the Arts Award for the joint use of air rights over I-95 in Philadelphia, and an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) award for a Major Investment Study linking transportation and land use in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
