KS Engineers is the lead designer for Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) design-build project for Colonial Road Improvements and Pocket Track Extension in Great Neck, NY. The lead contractor is Railroad Construction Company, Inc. of Paterson, NJ. The project consists of demolition and removal of existing bridge, construction of a new bridge, creation of a new pocket track south of the existing main line, and drainage improvements throughout the site
