KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) was responsible for the in-depth inspection of, and report preparation for, 123 State Owned Sign Structures. Inspection of span, cantilever, and butterfly sign structures which included foundations, anchor bolts, towers, trusses, and connections, to determine the condition of the sign structures and the structure site.
Extensive MPT, along with night and weekend work, was required. Close coordination with the State Police was necessary for all nighttime lane movements or closings. Priority repair recommendation letters were issued which included repair procedures.
Reports were printed from the NJDOT database, following the input of updates based on the inspections. Data were exported and sent to NJDOT, along with photographs and sketches, on a CD.
